SPEED COACH

CORDERYL SUNDAY

Corderyl Sunday founded Coach Sunday Track Performance in 2015 with a passion for developing, motivating, and empowering athletes of all ages and across all sports to perform at their highest level. His coaching philosophy is built around developing strong sprinting fundamentals, proper technique, speed, power, and confidence—principles that have played a major role in his own athletic success and the success of the athletes he coaches.

Coach Sunday competed in track and field at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) from 2007–2009. During his collegiate career, he established himself as one of the program’s top athletes, finishing his career holding 12 school records and helping lead UAH to the 2009 NCAA Division II South Regional Championship.

He graduated from UAH with two Bachelor of Science degrees, earning degrees in Marketing and Human Resource Management.

Coach Sunday has continued his passion for developing athletes through his coaching career at Westminster Christian Academy, where he has coached since 2014. Throughout his tenure, his athletes have achieved tremendous success, including:

14 Individual AHSAA State Champions
10 Individual AHSAA State Runner-Ups
5 USATF All-Americans
2 ACAA State Champions and Meet MVPs
In addition to coaching, Coach Sunday continues to compete at a high level. He is a two-time USATF Masters National Champion, winning national titles in both the Long Jump and Triple Jump. He has also earned podium finishes in the 100m and 200m at the USATF Masters National Championships.

Through Coach Sunday Track Performance, his goal is simple: help athletes become faster, stronger, more confident, and better prepared to reach their full potential. Whether an athlete is competing in track and field or another sport, Coach Sunday believes that developing speed, explosiveness, proper movement mechanics, and a strong mindset can elevate performance on any field, court, or track.

Jesus. Speed. Power. Performance.
